Standard Chartered Bank has appointed Anchalee Bunsongsikul as the new President, CEO, and Head of Banking & Coverage for Standard Chartered Bank (Thailand) and its Representative Offices in Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar, effective 18 September 2024.
Anchalee succeeds Plakorn Wanglee and brings over 30 years of experience in banking and finance, with extensive expertise in client and product knowledge and a robust client network. Since joining the bank in 2012, Anchalee has been instrumental in leading the CIB Client Coverage business in Thailand. Before this, she held several leadership roles, including Head of Financial Markets and Head of Global Banking.
