Having hosted its main annual art event in May at River City Bangkok, Mango Art Festival has launched another art show called “Urban Collectibles” at Public House Hotel, Sukhumvit 31.
From Aug 2-4, take a closer look at the breadth of urban art from 100 Thai and foreign artists, who will be showcasing artworks in different mediums, ranging from prints, paintings, sculptures and art toys.
Public House Hotel's lobby, first and second floors will become temporary galleries, adding to the stylish hotel. Each room on the first and second floors will be a dedicated showroom for a group of artists represented by a gallery, an art collective or an individual artist.
Adding to the vibe are live sets by DJ Tawan & DJ Hedfang (May-T), DJ Dr.K, who comes from Koh Lanta, DJ Pemuda Sinarmas from Jakarta, Indonesia, and more. The DJs will be playing in the lobby and the hallway of the first and second floors.
The first day of the event starts at 2pm while on other days begin at 11am. Free admission. There's a paid parking space 800m from the hotel at Baan 225 Sawasdee and a free shuttle service is provided.
