The Script's "Satellites World Tour", their fourth performance in Thailand, will take place at Thunder Dome, Muang Thong Thani on Feb 20, 2025.
After 10 billion streams, 12 million album sales, six UK #1 albums and two platinum-certified US singles, The Script released their new album Satellites on Aug 16, in tandem with the announcement of their arena tour.
Both Ways, the lead single, sees the group strike out with swaggering new energy, with boisterous hip-hop and funk rhythms, providing the irresistible dance-floor vibes. It is a world apart from anything The Script have previously released. Vowing to pay tribute to their late bandmate Mark Sheehan by continuing the band they had built together, vocalist Danny O’Donoghue returned to the studio and experimented, using 808s and playing with R&B-inspired sounds, focusing on upbeat sonics, and co-writing with hitmakers Steve Robson (Rascal Flatts, Take That) and Wayne Hector (One Direction, Nicki Minaj), as well as bandmate Glen Power. Satellites is an uplifting collection of songs that forges a new future for The Script while being a tribute to Sheehan.
The tour's setlist looks to be a 12-track setlist with a few more for an encore. It contains the biggest hits from their catalogue with just two songs from their latest release. However, that may be changed as the band embarks on their world tour.
