Megalopolis
Directed by Francis Ford Coppola.
Who’s in it?
Adam Driver, Giancarlo Esposito and Nathalie Emmanuel.
What’s it about?
The city of New Rome is the main conflict between Cesar Catilina, a brilliant artist in favour of a utopian future, and the greedy mayor Franklyn Cicero. Between them is Julia Cicero, her loyalty divided between her father and her beloved.
Why watch it?
Coppola wrote the script in the early 80s with pre-production finally beginning in 2001. Though after filming 30 hours and holding table readings with Paul Newman, Uma Thurman, Robert De Niro, James Gandolfini, Nicolas Cage, Leonardo DiCaprio, Russell Crowe, Edie Falco and Kevin Spacey, the project was scrapped after the Sept 11, 2001 attacks, since a scene from the script (page 166) "predicted" the attacks. Coppola abandoned the project in 2007 and didn't begin developing it again until 2019.

Why watch it?
The film's working title means "Madness Of Two" in French. The name Folie a Deux comes from the 19th century French psychiatrist Charles Lasègue and Jules Falret, also known as Lasègue-Falret syndrome, and it depicts two or more people that they share the same madness or delirium.
The Substance
Directed by Coralie Fargeat.

Margaret Qualley, Dennis Quaid and Demi Moore.
What’s it about?
A fading celebrity decides to use a black market drug, a cell-replicating substance that temporarily creates a younger, better version of herself.
Why watch it?
Ray Liotta was cast in the film in February 2022. He died in May that year before he could film his scenes. Dennis Quaid replaced him as a result.
Beterang 2 (I, The Executioner)

Transformers One

What’s it about?
The untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever.
Why watch it?
The first theatrical animated movie in 38 years since the original movie “The Transformers: The Movie” (1986). This movie takes place on the planet Cybertron, centring on the relationship between Optimus Prime and Megatron going from brothers-in-arms to enemies.
