Rukku Bakku (Look Back)

Who’s in it? 

The voices of Yumi Kawai and Mizuki Yoshida.

What’s it about? 

The overly confident Fujino and the shut-in Kyomoto couldn't be more different, but a love of drawing manga brings the two small-town girls together.

Why watch it?

The names of the two protagonists (Fujino and Kyomoto), can be combined to form "Fujimoto", the name of the original manga author/artist. The characters are intended to represent Fujimoto's multiple perspectives on making art.

Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story

Christopher Reeve, Johnny Carson and Bill Clinton.

What’s it about?

Reeve's rise to becoming a film star follows with a near-fatal horse-riding accident in 1995 that left him paralysed from the neck down. After the accident, he became an activist for spinal cord injury treatments and disability rights.

Why watch it?

The first documentary released under the DC Studios banner since its founding in 2016 and rebrand in 2022.

Chuan shuo (A Legend)

Jackie Chan, Gülnezer Bextiyar and Yixing Zhang.

What’s it about?

An archeologist noticed that the texture of the relics discovered during the excavation of a glacier closely resembled a jade pendant seen in one of his dreams. He and his team then embark on an expedition into the depths of the glacier.

Why watch it?

Sequel to the classic 2005 Hong-Kong movie, The Myth and the 2017's Indian-Hong Kong movie, Kung Fu Yoga.

Mikey Madison, Paul Weissman and Lindsey Normington.

What’s it about?

Anora, a young sex worker from Brooklyn, meets and impulsively marries the son of an oligarch. Once the news reaches Russia, her fairytale is threatened as his parents set out for New York to get the marriage annulled.

Why watch it?

At the Cannes Film Festival press conference, Madison said that Baker would act out different sex positions with his wife, producer Samantha Quan, to demonstrate to the actors what he wanted them to do.
