Valmont
When it comes to luxury skincare, Swiss company Valmont has always used science coupled with natural ingredients.
Celebrating 40 years, is their Prime Renewing Pack, available at Paris Spa, which is the sole distributor for Valmont in Thailand. The company’s best-selling product, the pack offers the skin a comprehensive anti-ageing and anti-wrinkle properties.
“We use the DNA from wild salmon, fresh spring water, plants from the Swiss Alps, hydronic acid, and peptides and other active ingredients in high concentration. Results are noticeable after just one treatment,” promises Vita Viluckaite, who has been with Valmont for 16 years.
When the Prime Renewing Pack is on your face, it does tingle, which only means that the product is working, says Viluckaite. “Valmont offers five treatment rituals: Hydration, Energy-lifting, Luminosity, Lifting and Firmness. All rituals are designed with one goal — smoother, plumper, luminous and youthful-looking skin, for men and women, – in other words ‘Valmont skin,” adds Viluckaite.
The signature ritual is the Energy Ritual, which is all about cell renewal. “It’s all about increasing the number of baby cells to deliver a fresher and younger-looking skin. The ritual has many massages, including lymphatic drainage to activate microcirculation and the different masks will work for the different causes. For example, the first mask used is the Prime Renewing Pack has peptides that plump the lines on the face. The collagen mask uses native-born collagen and polysaccharides, which hydrates the skin and works directly on the collagen fibres to tighten them.
“The reason for the different masks in one ritual is that each on touches on different problems because no one has only one problem. Most people have dehydrated skin because of being in the air-conditioning for a long time, especially in the Bangkok weather. Or they don’t drink enough of water. Dehydration causes fine lines on the skin, which in turn causes wrinkles. The first level of ageing is hydration and the skin needs deep hydration from the inside,” explains Viluckaite.
Launched this year is the Luminosity collection, which includes the LumiCity with SPF50, a good choice for sun protection in Thailand. Protecting the skin daily has become an essential gesture for preventing skin ageing and maintaining healthy skin. The product can also be used as a serum as it contains ginseng, antioxidant Triple DNA and radiance-revealing plants from the Swiss Alps.
