A glimpse into three brands and their collections for the Men's Spring Summer 2025 Collection.

H&M

The H&M Studio mini summer capsule of laid-back beachwear focuses on regeneratively grown cotton. Comprising a concise edit spanning two maxi dresses, two kaftans, and a coordinating top and skirt, each piece is made from Regenerative Organic Certified cotton. The mini capsule is available online at th.hm.com.

The brand has also launched the “Back To School 2024”. The collection is defined by a playful minimalism with refined essentials and a preppy edge. Pieces include a faux leather jacket and dress, workwear-inspired jackets, a short trench, rugby tops and denim. White, black, grey and beige with pops of red and sky blue make up the colour palette. The kidswear collection is available in stores and online.

Together with New York-based fashion designers Ev Bravado and Téla D’Amore, the latest H&M collaboration explores Jean-Michel Basquiat’s legacy and his impact on young Black creatives. The 30-piece collection merges Basquiat’s iconic imagery and rarely-seen artworks with Bravado and D’Amore’s stained glass motifs and expressive designs. Available online and at CentralWorld and Siam Paragon.

Burberry

Burberry’s swan motif has been adapted for the Qixi festival, which falls on Aug 10, in a capsule collection. The new artwork, featuring two swans intertwining to create the shape of a heart, appears across a range that includes T-shirts, shirts, silk scarves, a dress and cardigan. The collection also includes the signature Rocking Horse bag in a new seasonal colourway, soap.

Recognised as symbols of love and commitment, swans are a classic British bird. The womenswear collection includes a pleated skirt and pyjama shirt in silk poplin, alongside a V-neck cardigan and matching top in stretch cotton crepe. Menswear includes a short-sleeved shirt, shorts, T-shirt and long-sleeved top in cotton poplin, alongside silk scarves with the swan motif and printed Burberry lettering. The Qixi capsule collection is available in stores and online.

Shanghai Tang

Shanghai Tang has unveiled its 2024 Autumn/Winter Collection, drawing inspiration from the ancient Chinese poet Li Bai's "Bring In The Wine" depicting the aesthetic worldview of the Tang Dynasty.

The collection reimagines cultural themes to weave grand tapestries of gilded eras amidst threads of silk into contemporary apparel, each design infused with the distinctive elegance of the East. The result is a classic wardrobe rich in lustre and vibrant colours inspired by various Tang Dynasty artefacts, paintings and poetry.

The collection’s signature pattern is "The Winding Stream Party", which illustrates an enchanting landscape: pine branches are adorned with lanterns and decorated wine vessels rest in the shade of ancient trees. The distinctive shapes of calabash gourds signifying health, wealth and happiness line terraced platforms where scholars mingle and wine flows whilst clouds, distant mountains, flower blossoms, long-tailed birds and graceful deer intricately interlace dimensions of perspective.

The menswear collection begins with the integrity of tailored structural designs and meticulously executes these garments with skilled applications of velvet, special shimmering fabrics, and quilted cotton to seamlessly integrate fabric shapes with the body's movement. Iconic looks such as the Tang Cashmere Jacket and Tang Mandarin Collar Shirt embrace the opulent imagery of this season, further harmonising traditional Chinese elegance with modern menswear aesthetics. Available in stores and online.

Loro Piana

The brand’s Autumn Winter 2025-2026 Textile Collection at Milano Unica is inspired by the archives and fabrics that have made up the maison’s history.

The absolute protagonists are the reworked cashmere fabrics, such as the Cashmere Award characterised by exceptionally fine and long fibres, and the Cashmere Tweed, soft and comfortable. The collection also introduces reinterpreted denim fabrics, enhanced with precious fibres like the Australis Super 150'S wool, cashmere, and European linen, ideal for both casual and tailored garments. Loro Piana’s most iconic fabrics also meet new designs and effects such as Wool Attitude in pure wool and Silk Air in wool and silk. This collection is a symbol of Loro Piana’s constant search for excellence in savoir faire with artisan heritage and cutting-edge solutions in textile production techniques.
