Centara Hotels & Resorts claims the top spot of Brand Finance’s Thailand 50 report as “Thailand's Strongest Brand of 2024” two years in a row.

This win follows Centara Grand, the group's flagship five-star concept, being named Thailand’s best brand last year. Brand Finance’s Thailand 50 report evaluates brands based on a range of criteria, including brand equity, trust and financial performance.

Centara Grand Hotel Osaka.

The success of Centara Hotels & Resorts in the last 12 months was demonstrated by the realisation of several major projects including the launch of Centara Grand Hotel Osaka, a spectacular 33-storey urban icon marking the group’s debut in Japan.

Centara Ayutthaya.

Domestically, the launch of Centara Ayutthaya underscored the company’s commitment to bringing world-class hospitality to all parts of the kingdom, and the recent opening of COSI Vientiane Nam Phu, Laos, marked the international debut of COsiris, the group's affordable lifestyle brand.

Centara Life Lamai Resort Samui.

Centara plans to expand its portfolio with several key openings and upgrades in the rest of 2024. In Thailand, Centara Life Lamai Resort Samui will start welcoming guests next month, and two of Centara’s flagship Thai hotels — Centara Karon Resort Phuket and Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya — will soon emerge anew following comprehensive renovations.

Internationally, Centara Mirage Lagoon Maldives's opening in November will mark the first phase of The Atollia by Centara Hotels & Resorts, a new multi-island destination in the Indian Ocean. The world’s fourth Centara Mirage project, this underwater-themed resort will feature a full range of family-friendly facilities centred around a waterpark with a lazy river. In 2025, Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives, a sophisticated upper-upscale resort, will be added to Centara's Maldives foothold.
