Wellington College Bangkok

Wellington College Bangkok

  • Wellington Family:
Our Wellington heritage began in the mid nineteenth century in Crowthorne, England. The school was founded in commemoration of the Duke of Wellington by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. The family now includes schools in China, Thailand, and India, with plans for expansion across South East Asia. Our family of schools provides access to resources, talent, and facilities across the network, and our students participate in Summer School programmes in England and engage in student exchanges. The opportunities are boundless!
  • Incredible Campus:
Located in Krungthep Kreetha, we enjoy the luxury of space, with our school situated on 70 rai. We boast two sports pitches, a 400m athletics track, two swimming pools, a 600+ seater theatre, and beautiful green, leafy grounds adjacent to a golf course.
  • An Exceptional British Education:
We follow the English National Curriculum leading to IGCSEs at 16 and A-Levels at 18. This curriculum is recognised as comprehensive and robust worldwide, preparing students for admission to the world's finest universities.
  • Learning Environments:
Each child studies in a spacious classroom with a small class size. We are a selective school with a limited number of students per class, ensuring that every student can thrive. Our Junior School (JS) classes also share large central Learning Studios. Our Senior School students enjoy the state-of-the-art Skylight building, which will soon be joined by a second Crowthorne building.
  • Teachers:
If you ask anyone what makes us special, they'll mention our teachers. All our teachers are PGCE qualified, with most having extensive teaching experience both in the UK and abroad. Experienced and passionate, they engage with every child to support their individual development and learning pace. They provide support and challenge whenever and wherever it is needed. We are highly selective in our recruitment process to ensure that our teachers are happy members of the Wellington community and continue to grow professionally.
