Buriram face tough test against Port as T1 returns

Hostilities in Thai League 1 return to full swing today with an enticing clash between the top two clubs in the table, Port and defending champions Buriram United.

The home game, which will kick off at 6:30pm, will be a big test for Port's title credentials this season.

The visiting Thunder Castle are the form team in the top flight and are the only club who have yet to drop any points in five outings so far.

Port trail Buriram's perfect record of 15 points by two and will be hoping to replicate their 4-1 triumph from last season over the northeastern giants today.

Buriram are likely to be without prolific striker Supachai Chaided, who was injured in their last game against Nakhon Pathom United on Sept 1 and had to pull out of the Thai national squad for the LP Bank Cup in Hanoi.
