BANGKOK, 19 February 2025 – INNSiDE by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit has appointed Tarek Beheiry as its new General Manager, bringing his extensive international hospitality experience to the helm of Thailand’s first INNSiDE by Meliá property.
Beheiry, a seasoned hotelier with over 20 years of experience across Asia, Africa, and Australasia, takes charge of the 208-room lifestyle hotel, which soars 34 floors above Bangkok’s vibrant On Nut neighbourhood. Featuring a transparent infinity pool, rooftop tapas bar, and integrated co-working spaces, INNSiDE by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit is a dynamic urban retreat designed for modern travellers.
This appointment marks Beheiry’s first role with Meliá Hotels International, a global hospitality leader with an expanding presence in Asia. Before joining INNSiDE, he served as Regional General Manager of Ennismore New Zealand and General Manager at SO/ Auckland, following previous leadership roles at Mondrian Seoul Itaewon, W Koh Samui, Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit, and Pullman Bangkok Hotel G.
Beheiry’s career began with Sofitel, where he held operational roles in Egypt, Australia, and Singapore before stepping into general management at Hotel G Singapore in 2017. A graduate of Helwan University Cairo, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hotel Management.
