Thai Youth Drive Innovation for a Sustainable Future

Ministry of Education and Starfish Education Launch Future Youth Thailand: Pitching Season 1

The Ministry of Education, through the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC), in collaboration with Starfish Education Foundation, has introduced the Future Youth Thailand initiative. This programme is designed to equip Thai youth with future-ready skills and 21st-century competencies through Pitching Season 1, a competition themed "Creative Learning Innovation."

The event promotes sustainable innovation, encouraging students to develop solutions aligned with SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and SDG 13 (Climate Action), tackling sustainability challenges at both local and global levels.

The competition was officially opened by Dr. Ketthip  Suphavanich, Deputy Secretary-General of OBEC, and Dr. Nanthaporn Seributra, President of Starfish Education Foundation, who delivered inspiring remarks to the participating students.

A National Stage for Young Innovators

The competition attracted over 200 teams from across Thailand, creating a national platform for aspiring innovators. Following a rigorous selection process, the top 10 teams advanced to the final round, where they pitched their groundbreaking ideas for a chance to win prestigious national awards.

This initiative underscores the Ministry of Education and Starfish Education Foundation’s commitment to nurturing Thai youth as changemakers, empowering them to shape a more sustainable and innovative future.
