
The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, in collaboration with key Thai auto parts industry associations, will host the Thailand International Auto Parts and Accessories Show 2025 (TAPA 2025). Taking place from 3-5 April 2025 at Hall EH101-104, BITEC, Bangkok, this premier event offers a platform for networking, business expansion, and insights into the latest industry trends. Attendees can engage in high-level panel discussions and explore Thailand's manufacturing potential at the Highlight Product Showcase Zone.
Thailand’s Auto Parts Industry on the Global Stage
Ms. Natiya Suchinda, Deputy Director-General of the DITP, revealed that in 2024, Thailand’s automotive parts and accessories exports totalled USD 15.49 billion (543.64 billion baht), contributing 5.15% of the country’s total export value. Major export destinations include the United States, Japan, Malaysia, South Africa, and Indonesia. "Thailand's ability to compete globally stems from a well-established supply chain spanning over five decades, covering all aspects from upstream production to downstream distribution," she noted.
For more than 20 years, TAPA has provided a global stage for Thai manufacturers to showcase their expertise in auto parts and accessories. The event attracts buyers, importers, and key industry players from across the world, fostering international partnerships and trade negotiations while offering a launchpad for new products, technologies, and innovations. With a reputation as a leading auto parts sourcing hub, TAPA continues to support the industry's expansion on a global scale.

TAPA 2025: ‘Sustainable for the Future’
Under the theme “Sustainable for the Future”, TAPA 2025 highlights the industry's shift towards sustainability to meet the evolving demands of modern mobility. The exhibition will feature over 500 international manufacturers across 1,000 booths, covering 20,000 square metres.

Insights from Industry Leaders
Mr. Sompol Tanadumrongsak, President of the Thai Auto-Parts Manufacturers Association (TAPMA), emphasised that Thai manufacturers must integrate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies and develop green products in response to global market trends. He highlighted Thailand’s Multiple Track policy, which balances internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles with battery electric vehicles (BEVs). This approach ensures that Thailand remains competitive in ICE vehicle production while embracing the transition to sustainable mobility.
Mr. Panuwat Malasukhum, Secretary-General of the Thai Auto Parts Aftermarket Association (TAPAA), expects continued growth in the automotive aftermarket sector in 2025, driven by new product launches, expansion in the EV market, and increasing demand for vehicle maintenance. However, he advised businesses to monitor economic conditions and geopolitical risks to remain adaptable.
Mr. Chanin Khaochan, President of the Thai Subcontracting Promotion Association (THAI SUBCON), highlighted Thailand’s strong supply chain for auto parts manufacturing, supported by both domestic and international investors. With a skilled workforce and advanced manufacturing technologies, Thailand remains a key player in the global automotive sector.
Mr. Saksiri Vikromdhammakul, President of the Worachak Automotive Synergy Association (WASA), noted that Worachak serves as a central hub for auto, motorcycle, and machinery parts distribution. The area supports both retailers and wholesalers with affordable, high-quality products and an extensive logistics network, ensuring fast and efficient nationwide distribution.
