Dow (NYSE: DOW) has achieved ISCC PLUS certification for its Propylene Glycol (PG) manufacturing facility in Map Ta Phut, Rayong, Thailand, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable production and circular solutions in the Asia Pacific region.
Expanding sustainable PG solutions
Leveraging innovative technologies, Dow is introducing two new ISCC PLUS-certified sustainable PG products in Asia Pacific:
- Propylene Glycol CIR with Renuva™ recycled material, converting hard-to-recycle post-consumer and post-industrial waste into sustainable feedstocks.
- Propylene Glycol REN with Ecolibrium™ bio-circular technology, reducing reliance on fossil fuel-based feedstocks.
These new offerings support customers' circularity and sustainability goals across industries including personal care, pharmaceuticals, food ingredients, flavorings, and fragrances.
Strengthening Dow’s leadership in sustainability

This achievement expands Dow’s sustainable PG portfolio across North America, Europe, Latin America, and now Asia Pacific.

Following its 2024 capacity expansion, which made Dow Thailand’s PG plant the largest in Asia, the ISCC PLUS certification underscores the company’s operational excellence and sustainability efforts.

ISCC PLUS is a leading global certification ensuring full traceability and sustainability across supply chains. As Dow integrates circular and bio-circular feedstocks, the certification verifies alternative feedstock tracking through the mass balance approach, further advancing sustainability in the industry.
