Krungthai-AXA Launches ‘Commit to Climate Season 4’

Krungthai-AXA Life Insurance strengthens its green leadership with the launch of “Commit to Climate Season 4,” a year-long campaign focused on restoring clean air and supporting sustainability nationwide.

Amid growing concerns over climate change and air pollution, businesses are increasingly stepping up to champion environmental stewardship. One of the frontrunners in this space, Krungthai-AXA Life Insurance Public Company Limited, has reaffirmed its leadership as a green insurer with the launch of the fourth season of its flagship campaign, “Commit to Climate.” Centred on restoring clean air and promoting sustainability, the campaign reflects the company’s deep-rooted commitment to creating a more balanced and liveable world.

Ms. Buppawadee Owararin, Chief People, Brand, and Communications Officer, said the company remains firmly committed to environmental sustainability, aligning with the global AXA Group’s climate change and biodiversity strategies. Over the past 28 years, Krungthai-AXA has rolled out numerous environmental initiatives in collaboration with both public and private sectors, focused on awareness and tangible impact.

Since its inception in 2022, the “Commit to Climate” campaign has made significant progress, raising environmental awareness through ocean, river, and forest conservation activities and promoting behavioural change to reduce global warming. The campaign has achieved over 5.6 million impressions and engaged more than 80,000 participants. It has also received international recognition, including the “Best Insurance Sustainability Initiative 2025” from the Global Business to Brand Industry & Leadership Awards.

This year’s campaign zeroes in on air pollution, a rising concern in Thailand. The aim is to help restore fresh air and build a sustainable ecosystem. Celebrity singer-actor and company CR Influencer Tao Sattaphong Phiangphor joins the initiative to drive public engagement across four key activities throughout 2025:

  1. Clean Air – Participants can calculate their daily carbon footprint, with each comment and share translated into one tree planted. This activity is conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to promote green spaces.
  2. Pure Air – An online game encourages participants to "move smart" to reduce CO₂ emissions. The top five scorers win electric bikes, and once total points hit 500,000, Krungthai-AXA will donate THB 50,000 to improve public bike lanes in Bangkok.
  3. Green Air – In partnership with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, this tree-watering game invites users to boost Bangkok’s green areas. Participants’ scores will be converted into funds for urban landscaping, with the top scorer receiving an electric scooter.
  4. Fresh Air – This online quiz reveals what kind of mangrove creature the participant represents. Each quiz entry supports mangrove ecosystem restoration in partnership with the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources and Kasetsart University.

These activities reaffirm Krungthai-AXA’s commitment to leading environmental efforts and encouraging public action on climate change and biodiversity. The campaign not only underscores the insurer’s role in protecting lives and the planet but also inspires everyone to become part of the climate solution.
