Top25Restaurants.com, a list that uses artificial intelligence to curate top dining establishments across the globe, announced its 2024 list for Thailand yesterday.
The top spot was taken by restaurant Potong, the Thai-Chinese fine dining restaurant by chef Pichaya “Pam” Soontornyanakij, followed closely by Côte By Mauro Colagreco at Capella Bangkok, helmed by chef Davide Garavaglia. Taking the third spot was Baan Tepa, a Thai fine-dining restaurant by Chef Tam Chudaree Debhakam.
Seven restaurants entered the top 25 this year; among them being Embassy Room at the Park Hyatt Bangkok, which offers a Catalan culinary experience; Chai Jia Chai, a modern Cantonese omakase restaurant; and restaurant Înt, which has a progressive Thai menu.
The Top25 Restaurants Special Awards also honoured excellence in culinary heritage, groundbreaking innovation in the restaurant industry and a young rising star chef. PerfectCheck received the Restaurant Industry Innovation Award, chef Goji Kobayashi, chef-owner at Sushi Kuuya received the Young Rising Star Chef Award and North Restaurant was awarded the Culinary Heritage Excellence Award.
